Blue Like Jazz, the new movie based on Donald Miller’s book, doesn’t release to theaters till April 13, but its world premiere comes a month earlier, on March 13, at the prestigious SXSW Film Festival in Austin.

We’ve had a lot of inquiries on this film.

There is still no word as to when the release date is but they will let us know as soon as there is an official date. They are in the process of getting distributors for the film.

John Kimball was the Cinematographer but I could not find out any more information than this. We have no contact information for Wisenquest and there is no FB page either. It would be interesting to find out – some beautiful photography!

Just watched this movie at my church’s Movie Night and i LOVED IT! Jesus is awesome but he’s gentle too, this i knew but i saw how he really works an it helped me better understand him too I’ll admit, the movie made me tear up on some parts, especially at the end when he told everyone he loved them <3 i know he loves us all, but hearing him say it just makes me believe it more that i am loved by the very one who created me.

My husband and I just watched this AWESOME movie on Netflix! I loved it…and it’s message…so much that I shared about it on facebook! I hope that some of my friends will watch it and pass it on. It also would be a great movie to watch together in a Youth group or Bible study group and I can’t wait to see the sequel!
