CFDb Review!

What a great film!  Powerful, especially for teens, but adults will really benefit from this one too! Check out the CFDb Movie Review.

Film Synopsis:

King’s Faith – Brendan King is a foster kid who grew up on the wrong side of the law graduating from five-finger discounts and fights on the playground to drug-dealing and gun-running as a member of the multi-racial gang called Avenue D. Arrested in a federal raid when he was fifteen and imprisoned for three years until his parole at eighteen, Brendan has found a relationship with God and with it he has turned his life around. Upon his release, he moves in with a new foster family and starts attending high school in an affluent suburb near the city where he grew up.

Now on the outside, Brendan vows to keep things on track. He works hard at his studies, lands an after school job and joins The Seekers, a faith based teen group that works on community service projects. On the way home from work one evening, he comes upon a car accident and saves a girl from a burning wreck. The girl, Natalie Jenkins, is a very popular teen at his school. Along with being a captain of the cheerleading squad, she is student council president, and at the top of her class in academics. The accident makes front page news and thrusts both of them into the local spotlight; he for being the gangster turned hero, she for drugs that were found in her car by the police. When Natalie is sentenced to court ordered community service with The Seekers, she finds herself placed on the same project as Brendan – tutoring kids in a foster home downtown.

I saw the film trailer today and went to see if it is a theater near me (Virginia). It isn’t playing anywhere in Virginia.

Next I went to your website to see if the DVD is available for purchase. The link to “Buy Film” produces a blank white box, and there is no email address for direct contact/request.

Please provide purchasing (regular DVD and Blue Ray) information. Also, if you are accepting suggestions – this movie would be great with so many audiences across churches and in general, however, the marketing of it limits who will even know about it. I am so happy to have been watching a faith channel this morning and to have seen the trailer – I was ready to go see it today … but I would have to go to another state to do so. My suggestion is to continue perfecting the marketing: make sure your web links and options are complete and work, clearly provide a purchase indicator or message of when it will be available for purchase, etc.

Thanks so much, I cannot wait to hear back from you on how/where I can purchase this film.

    Kind regards,
    Ms. Brooks

we’ll put that in as well. There is a link to get the movie near you as well – it’s under the description. The contact information would be found in that link, as well as if you scroll down a little bit you’ll see the e-mail and contact information for the filmmakers.
