Are you kidding me? This is a gross distortion of scriptures. I personally think it is dangerous for a Christian wanting to learn the truth…which this is not! They may seem mild distortions to the uneducated but be careful what you believe. They use words from the Gospels but they grossly distort the story. Jesus is God, he knew who he was! He didn’t need her to teach him the parables…they were his. she didn’t send the disciples out to teach all nations, Christ did. Why do people distort the Bible to make something ‘entertaining.’ It’s entertaining when accurate!

We haven’t actually watched this film. Thank you for sharing your comments. It is true that sometimes a LOT of liberty is taken in the name of entertainment. We’ve always wondered why Bible films aren’t just based directly on the words of Scripture. It’s exciting enough as it is the written…truth.

As a dedicated Christian, i personally think this film was an inspiration to me as it showed what women go through. I for one thrive for equality in genders, respect for women and anti-women abuse. At the young age of 14 i have lost my virginity to my lord and saviour, in the bedroom of the Lord’s Kingdom.
Thank you for opening my eyes to the true story of Christ.
