Film Synopsis:

Imagine a book that transports you to fantastic adventures in ancient history! Children of all ages will enjoy traveling back in time to revisit favorite stories from the Bible. Chris, Joy and their toy robot Gizmo find themselves right in the middle of things when David does battle with Goliath. They take part in the biggest roundup in history while visiting with Noah, and watch in awe as Moses parts the Red Sea. Children love learning about Adam and Eve, Jonah, Samson and other great figures from the world’s most popular book.

The 52 half-hour “Superbook” episodes have been translated into more than 30 languages and have found enthusiastic audiences in over 70 countries.

How It All Began – Chris, Joy and Gizmo meet SuperBook while reluctantly cleaning the attic for Chris’ father. SuperBook transports the children back in time, where they meet the first man and woman in the garden of Eden.

My Brother’s Keeper – Chris, Joy and Gizmo meet Cain and Abel, the sons of Adam and Eve. The travelers witness a jealous Cain who kills Abel, and then gets punished.

The Flood – SuperBook takes the children back in time to witness the story of Noah and the flood. During the flood, the children board Noah’s ark, along with two of every living thing on the earth.

The Test – The children travel to meet Abraham and his son Isaac. They witness Abraham attempting to sacrifice Isaac on an altar.

Those Amazing Trumpets — In this action-packed episode, the travelers experience the battle of Jericho and the crushing of the Jericho walls.

Pitchers of Fire — The children witness the victorious story of Gideon and his army defeating the Midianites by shouting and breaking pitchers with torches inside.

Muscleman — The children travel back to live the story of Samson, one of the world’s most powerful men. Samson gets deceived, captured, and then destroys the temple where he’s held as a prisoner and a slave.

The First Christmas — The children experience the first Christmas where they meet Mary and Joseph. Mary bears a child, and King Herod attempts to kill the baby.
