The Flying House: The Series

Film Description:

When three small children take shelter in a house during a storm, they meet an inventor and his robot. The inventor explains that the house is in fact a time machine. A sudden mishap sends the house and everyone into the ancient Middle East, where they witness various events described in the New Testament. Each time they leave one biblical event in an attempt to return to their own time, they arrive at another. During their journey they make several encounters with a certain man from Nazareth.

Come visit a house that flies back in time, carrying an absent-minded professor, three fun-loving kids, and a quirky little robot to action-packed adventures in biblical times. “Flying House” transports the viewer to the ancient biblical kingdom of Israel to meet people and witness events that changed the course of history.

Fantastic miracles, intriguing characters and exotic locales fill every episode as the time-travelers take part in great moments from the Bible. They also learn meaningful lessons about love, kindness, honesty and other important values that change their lives.

(Aired on CBN from 52 Episodes from 1982-1983)

Hi my name is Mhaybelle Parto, housewife and former cabin crew. I would like to ask if there is a possibilty for me to officially distribute flying house dvds here in the Philippines? I have a passion in spreading God’s word to Filipino children. I am a Roman Catholic. I am hoping you can reply to my inquiry as I wanted to start a home base business. Thank you and more power
    God bless!

I have tried to talk to them about also distribution of Super Book, which is the sister series to Flying house. They made many more super book eps. than flying house. I was told, at this time, they don’t wish to do anything other than what they are doing now. I even talked to someone with a connection on the inside and still nothing.

I think the best bet would be to tell people they are playing on TV/Cable and to tape them, this is a Great new series. Here is more news about that … http://www.christianfilmdatabase.com/up-coming-films/all-week-long-july-1st-july-5th-superbook-will-air-on-abc-family-at-930-a-m-et/

These are also played at other times as well. I know this is not what you wanted, but I hope it helps. :)

This is such a great show! I remember watching it as a child. The only problem is it’s on 3 days a week after my kindergartener goes to school. Boo! Still I watch it with the younger two. I bet if they sold them at The Holy Land Experience in Orlando they would have had better sales & kept the DVD in production? Something to think about. In the meantime I’ll keep scouring e-bay for a used one. God Bless!
