VOCO Apparel Appears in ‘Heaven Help Us’

VOCO Apparel Appears in ‘Heaven Help Us’

TV Pilot Heaven Help Us

Christian Film Database would like to introduce a new apparel company that is different from any of the other companies we have seen.  VOCO Apparel seems to be different in their designs, passion for ministry, as well as the overall approach to apparel.  Their whole purpose for designing and selling apparel is to minister to the world and challenge others to seek their Divine calling and make a difference is this broken and hurting world.  This is clear in their motto, company verse, and the passion seen in their videos.

 Voco Apparel

One of the ways they are seeking to reach out to the masses is through Christian Films.  They are eagerly seeking out Producers, Film Makers and Actors to partner with and provide apparel for upcoming movies.  We believe their apparel will be a big hit in the movies for multiple reasons.   VOCO Apparel’s clothing is unique in its designs in that they have a symbol or biblical story that is meaningful to Christians, a verse on the shirt that illustrates it’s meaning, and a video on the website, www.vocoapparel.com, to tie all three elements together.  This three pronged concept is something that we have not ever seen before and believe will be a huge hit for evangelism and future movies!  Additionally, most Christian clothing only has one or two colors in its designs but VOCO has up to eight colors per design and the comfort of these shirts is unsurpassed.

After digging a little deeper into VOCO, we found a recurring theme is boldness and challenging fellow believers.  On their website and on the Facebook page, VOCO is quoted as saying, “it was created to be a ministry that inspires and creates a culture of Christ followers who are willing to be bold for Christ.”  They go on to say, “Our company verse is Philippians 1:20 – I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that, now as always, Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.”  WOW!  What a powerful verse!  Many people know Philippians 1:21, but 1:20 is a rarely quoted verse but extremely bold and provides the context for how Paul is able to say what he does in 1:21.  Also, on the website the motto is listed and it is “Define.  Empower.  Challenge.”  It states, “We hope through VOCO you will be able to redefine who you are, will be empowered through God’s definition of you (not the world’s), and will be challenged to live out your Devine purpose and calling in life!”  What an amazing company verse and motto!

I am sure many of you are wondering what the meaning of VOCO is and how they chose that name.  Well, VOCO is actually the Latin word for “to call or summon”.  According to the website, “the reason we chose this word as the name of our company is to help people understand that we are all “called or summoned” by God to a certain purpose in life.  When you understand your purpose, it gives meaning, joy, and contentment to your life that can’t be obtained through any other means.”   That is very insightful and inspiring!

David Cain

David Cain is a man passionate about getting the message of the gospel into the community on unique ways that will attract others to ask the question, “What is That?” At VOCO Apparel, he is doing just that. These are high quality TEE Shirts with a custom design (by David himself) with the purpose of creating an opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

VOCO was started in 2012 and was created to be more than an apparel company. It was created to be a ministry that inspires and creates a culture of Christ followers who are willing to be bold for Christ. Our company verse is Philippians 1:20 – “I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.” It is not easy to get to the point in your relationship with Christ that you can live out that verse, but we hope that our message and our apparel will inspire you to grow and get to the point where you can. Our motto is: Define. Empower. Challenge. We hope through VOCO you will be able to redefine who you are, will be empowered through God’s definition of you (not the world’s), and will be challenged to live out your Devine purpose and calling in life!

VOCO is the Latin word for “to call or summon”. The reason we chose this word as the name of our company is to help people understand that we are all “called or summoned” by God to a certain purpose in life. When you understand your purpose, it gives meaning, joy, and contentment to your life that can’t be obtained through any other means. It transforms how you view life, people, and the world. Although God has a supreme purpose for each and every person, there are numerous obstacles to seeking, understanding, or accepting this “calling”. Some of these obstacles or idols may be the love of money, career, relationships, alcohol, drugs and many more. The world will show you how meaningful life can be with these things and will entice you to pursue them will all your heart and soul. However, if you obtain them, you will see that those things have not been fulfilling or provided contentment. There is only one source for that – a relationship with Jesus Christ. This is the first step to knowing and accepting your calling! We hope and pray that is the reminder for you to seek it out.
