A Different Kind of Church

is a high concept documentary film that revolves around a wild free spirited character named Vito Bitetto and the ministry he founded. Growing up in the rat race streets of Brooklyn New York, the cards were stacked against Vito from day one.

He chose to surround himself with those who thought that stealing, drug use, fast cars and fine clothes were paramount. This inevitably landed him into numerous notorious prisons. Places like New York State Penitentiary, Clinton Dannemora, and Ryker’s Island became his new home.

Vito now found himself sharing prison cells with the most insidious men to ever walk the planet Earth. He cried out to the Lord and asked Him to please help and he’d promise to change.

This is a touching documentary that really shows how a life given to God can affect so many others.  You’ll find it interesting about Vito’s life and how God is using him for His glory.

God has a plan for each of our lives, even for those who have discouraging beginnings like Vito.  God gave him an idea and although he didn’t understand it at first, it finally became clear.  His story reminds us to walk in faith and be patient as we wait for God to reveal His plan for our lives.
