‘Camp Harlow’ ~ CFDb Movie Review
With her parents on the brink of divorce, young Alex finds herself in the place she least wants to be—a summer equestrian camp in Eugene, Oregon. Everybody around her is having fun. But all she wants to do is shut out the world and hide her pain until an unlikely friend touches her heart—a beautiful, spirited horse!
This was an unexpected gem. Besides amazing music, here were some highlights:
- God loves us too much to leave us the way we are.
- Wonderful idea about the garden of commitment.
- Great ending.
- Power of prayer.
Beautiful thing is that Camp Harlow is real camp. A great film for children, tweens and teens!
Wanted to give recognition to Monique Hurd, who played Sam. Her role was amazing and really gave us a picture of true Christianity and the power of prayer. Looking forward to seeing her in more faith based films.
