‘The Note’ ~ CFDb Movie Review
Miracles come to those willing to believe!
A warm and touching story of hope and forgiveness based on a novel by best-selling Christian author Angela Hunt.
When a plane crashes, Newspaper columnist Peyton MacGruder discovers a Note that was meant for the child of one of the passengers. “The Note” shows how dramatically life can change in a spilt second…the need to make a connection and reach out to someone you care about. If only we had a chance for those final goodbyes, to offer words of reconciliation, to say I love you or share regret. Who would you write to if you had only a few moments? What would you say?
What a heartwarming film that inspires you to walk in forgiveness. Here are some highlights:
- Perspective when we think we are having a bad day. There is always someone somewhere that is truly suffering or has just received some tragic news.
- Loved the advice given about how to think about things. Intruding vs. Listening. Pay close attention to that.
- Such simple things can truly touch many lives. Peyton was so kind in all her dealings with everyone, a shining example of how we should be. She was also very tactful in dealing with the problems that arise.
Who remembers Genie Francis as Laura from General Hospital? If you do, I know you’ll be around my age or older. I remember coming from from school and sitting on the edge of my seat when the Luke and Laura era was going on. Was I the only one? Although I don’t watch soap operas any more, I still remember some scenes from General Hospital and Genie Francis. She is still a wonderful actress.
Some movies are meant to be rewatched and this is one of them. Prepare to have your heart touched and maybe even shed a few tears, especially for us ladies.
