Sara is at the top of her game. She has the chance to be chosen for an elite summer tennis program, but her hopes are dashed unexpectedly by the one person no one likes…Colton.

Colton is at the bottom of life, constantly leading others way, hurting people, giving no one respect, and making fun of other teens for not doing what he does. But then his parents pray for some intervention in his life. When he’s partying one night, Colton ends up in a car wreck with Sara, and goes through an experience that changes him. But facing life after you’ve done everything wrong can sometimes be the hardest step, and Colton must find a way to prove to everyone especially to Sara that he’s changed.

Sneak Preview

This is one of my favorites, such a powerful thought provoking film and teens will LOVE it!  Here were some highlights:

  • God’s intervention as a result of the prayer of the parents.
  • The beautiful way it showed the need for restitution and what that truly means for a Christian.
  • If we read the Word of God and follow its instructions, we can’t help but change.

This is a movie that shows what a difference God can make in a person’s life and how that life can impact others when they notice the change as well.

Some things we think are so basic, really aren’t.  The scene where he is listening to his sister talk about how to repent is eye-opening.  It reminded me of when I gave my heart to Jesus.  After the church service I was convicted of sin and knew that Jesus died for me sins, but I didn’t know what to do with it.  I asked my mom, who gave me a tract and I used that tract to go to my room and give my life to Him.

When I think back on that, I wonder how many times we miss an opportunity to explain to someone something we take for granted, such as repentance or giving their hearts to Jesus.
