The Unexpected Bar Mitzvah

This is not your typical film, tackling a tough subject.  It reminded me a little of ‘The Sound of the Spirit‘, another thought provoking film.  Here are a few things that I enjoyed about this film:

  • Very interesting conversation about God and sports in the beginning.
  • A couple moments of unexpected humor.
  • Loved the talk about Harry Potter as well.
  • Most of all, the dreams…fantastic!

This film can be used as a tool for those that are witnessing to those of the Jewish faith.  We should all be burdened for souls, especially those of the Jewish faith.

One of my most favorite challenging verses for Jews is: Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended?  who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment?  who hath established all the ends of the earth?  what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?

Although I’ve never met a child with the gift of healing, I do believe that in the very last days, the gifts of the Spirit will be in abundance as there were in the days of the Apostles like the Bible tells us in Joel 2:28, 29 – And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

I recently did a study on Water Baptism & Baptism of the Spirit if anyone wants to check out the many Scriptures on each of the subjects.
