Matthew is a troubled boy from a broken home. When he vandalizes the local church to get back at his parents, Matthew has to repair the damage to the church to avoid criminal charges. While working at the church, he meets Ernest (John Ratzenberger), an accomplished wood carver who created the intricate woodwork decoration that Matthew destroyed. Now Ernest and Matthew must work together to preserve the church’s beautiful antiquity, and along the way, they also manage to restore their faith in God and in life.

This was a real delight to watch! Some fabulous acting and a really great film on Marriage and how Jesus fits into our every day decisions. This movie also brings out how struggles between the husband/wife really affect the child/children. You’ll really enjoy this one!

I have to say that I’ve never seen John Ratzenberger in a film where he wasn’t funny! When we sat down the watch the film we really thought this was going to be funny because he was in it. What a pleasant surprise to find out that he is a very talented actor who can play a serious role as well. Hope that doesn’t ruin anything for you! It was just such a shock for us! I hope that you enjoy this film as much as we did!
