I would love to see Christian Cinema as a choice on Roku. I know you can join Netflix (which I have) but there is nothing like using your smart TV’s to just pull up the specific group you want and after your paid subscription, being able to what anytime you want. The biggest problem with Netflix and other mixed genre media is that you don’t know until you are part of the way into the movie if it is Christian or satanic. For example the movie Prophesy is not something you want to allow in your home. The Bible teaches Prophesy but you can feel evil in this movie. Take that from someone who has the gift of discernment of spirits.

I would like to have a christian streaming service, I dont like netflix or Amazon. There are alot of UN-Family attractions right on the first pages. Anyone up for starting such a service?

That is a good point that you make. Avoiding the gratuitous sex and violence that litters so many films can be achieved with a simple reading of the film’s synopsis but it is almost impossible to gauge whether a movie has an ungodly theme or a strong worldview.

That is where Movie Guide comes in ( This Christian movie website has saved me on many occasions. Just type in the name of the movie (most popular movies are reviewed) and MG will give you a Christian oriented breakdown of the movie’s content.

Happy surfing and God bless you all.

    With grace,
The hope of the world is Jesus.

Maybe Christian Cinema will go the route of streaming one day…

Christian Cinema has a great catalog of current Christian films. It is too bad that delivery through USPS is so slow that a movie a week, even with Quick Return, is unreliable – and with Sat. mail coming to an end in August, it will get worse.

We have their rental service as well. I guess it depends where you live in the Country compared to where they live. Some take longer than others. We’ve really enjoyed it though and if you have NetFlix streaming you can watch Christian movies on there while waiting for the DVD to come from Christian Cinema. We combine them both.

Genuinely when someone doesn’t be aware of afterward its up to other people that they will
    assist, so here it happens.

I highly recommend Pure Flix! My wife and I love it. There is a large selection of movies and TV shows. They seem to continue to add to their library too. Really happy with it.
