Actress JENN GOTZON’s career break portraying President Nixon’s daughter Tricia Nixon (cameo) in Ron Howard’s Oscar nominee FROST/NIXON launched her as an American Leading Lady starring in over ten family & faith films soon-to-be released, including Vatican endorsed mysterious, romance-thriller DOONBY and festival-winning family dramedy GOD’S COUNTRY. GOTZON, “who is compared to a young Meryl Streep for her chameleon-like transformations,” stated by Valley Social Magazine, uses her starring roles as a platform to screen movies and speak to audiences as a vehicle to inspire hope and passion through the roles she plays on and off screen.

Raised in the countryside of the Lehigh Valley in PA, GOTZON pursued her dream to play complex protagonist characters that find redemption in the climax of the film’s storylines. She began performing right out of high school, appearing in murder mystery dinner theater, competing for Miss America and dancing for Walt Disney World.

After studying at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, GOTZON moved to California and landed a string of bit parts featured in big productions like Ang Lee’s HULK, Sean William Scott starrer ROLE MODELS, Sundance pleaser 500 DAYS OF SUMMER, along with Emmy-winning TV series PUSHING DAISIES and HOUSE. Big parts in smaller productions came her way, too, including 168 Film Festival 2008 best film winner STAINED that earned her the fest’s best actress award for her lead role as a political prisoner. At the 2008 Wildwood By-The-Sea (NJ) Film Festival she was named Rising Star of the year for her leading lady turn in the speed-dating romantic comedy short CHEMISTRY whose fest director Paul Russo described GOTZON as “having the acting depth of Kate Winslet and the charisma of Reese Witherspoon.”

Since the Pennsylvania native got her break, ironically, on Pennsylvania Avenue in FROST/NIXON, GOTZON’s dream began coming true. Since 2010, she starred in over 10 feature films to be released soon: romance-mystery-drama DOONBY opposite “The Dukes of Hazzard” star John Schneider, Ernie Hudson, Robert Davi and Jennifer O’Neill; political-thriller DRAGON DAY about a Chinese cyber-takeover of the U.S.; French and Indian War true-story drama ALONE YET NOT ALONE in which she plays an historical British captive who sacrifices herself to save the children (Kelly Greyson, Clay Walker); musical with a twist of faith SEPTEMBER SKIES; entertaining Ferrari driving dramedy GODS COUNTRY directed by Chris Armstrong, starring Gib Gerard, Daniel Hugh Kelly, Michael Toland, inspirational drama I AM GABRIEL written and directed by Mike Norris (John Schneider and tv’s Superman Dean Cain), 1940’s old Hollywood comedy THE SCREENWRITERS with “October Baby” star Jason Burkey and 168 Best Actor Jeff Rose, crime suspense thriller UNTOUCHED as Savannah’s powerhouse district attorney, controversial faithbased RIGHT TO BELIEVE directed by Chip Rosetti, documentary LET THE LION ROAR directed by Vanessa Frank starring only the A-listers from the faithbased film movement (which GOTZON was humbled to be included), rock music video WALLS by artist Sean Guererro produced by Lamon Records (soon to be seen on talk shows ie David Letterman) and DANTES HELL DOCUMENTED playing Dante’s heroine Beatrice oppositie Eric Roberts as Dante in The Divine Comedy epic trilogy.

Next up in the queue for production: cast in lead roles in family action film WHEELER with Jennifer Hudson and William H. Macy, along with romantic-comedy THREE TIMES A LADY produced by Barbara Kerr Condon with Nancy Stafford and Muse Watson, Savannah based thriller SINKING SAND directed by Brian Yarbrough, true New Orleans baseball drama pic NUMBER 31 ALWAYS produced by Steve Doherty and a supporting role in western epic drama THE DEADLIEST GUN directed by Michael D. Walters starring David Novak and Bug Hall.

GOTZON’s passion is impacting and inspiring audiences through the message behind the roles she plays. She developed a motivational mentor-outreach program, “Inspiring Audiences,” where she speaks to high school students, screens her movies and shares her journey on overcoming life’s obstacles pursuing her dream to educate and encourage how they, too, can follow their heart’s desire and live their dreams.

THE GOOD BOOK, an evangelistic silent feature film, produced by Faith Flix publisher Sharon Wilharm cast Gotzon as lead and will go into production by summer’s end.

Early 2013, Jenn Gotzon became a spokesperson for two amazing Christian organizations: Brooklyn based New Evangelistic Television (NET TV) creating hip faith-based movies, television and news bridging into mainstream through their network on VOD Verizon FiOs, Cablevision, Time Warner Cable and Redbox and Actors, Models, Talent for Christ (AMTC) serving as a mentor to encourage and train performers who want to be a positive role model fulfilling the great commission in film, fashion, music and theater.

All are socially relevant films that endeavor to make a difference in people’s lives.

*Jenn Gotzon hit number 2 on IMDb Starmeter during the week of May 15, 2011 when “Doonby” was in market at Festival de Cannes. Gotzon previously averaged 1k to 3k Starmeter Ranking since 2008.

Jenn Gotzon’s current IMDb Starmeter is not an accurate reflection of her ranking.
Since May 22, 2011, IMDb removed her from 2 Starmeter spot to 20k+ ranking resulting in her losing several acting jobs when producers rely on Starmeter ranking for casting purposes. IMDb assumed the top starmeter placement during Cannes Film Festival was fraudulent. IMDb was not aware of the public relations marketing campaign publicist Scotty Dugan executed for Jenn Gotzon.

Jenn Gotzon has played over 40 leading roles since 2000 and worked over 80 projects including features, shorts, television, commercials, voice-over, fitness & print jobs winning five awards and one nomination:

Jenn Gotzon passion is playing emotionally complex protagonist roles who find hope in the climax of the story in movies that have the ability to impact and inspire audiences across the world.

Gotzon thrives on creating character transformations like her role as Tricia Nixon in Frost/Nixon, Lydia in Alone Yet Not Alone and Meghan Doherty in God's Country.
Dramas, Rom-Coms, Action-Adventure, Westerns and Bio-Pic's are her favorites - and she would love to be in a snow skiing and softball movie as she's an avid athlete.

She loves collaborating with the director & writer to fully capture their vision with an emotional depth, charisma and creative spontaneity for each character she portrays on-screen... while bringing her ball of sunshine smile to set and a 'roll your sleeves up & jump in' team spirit! She also loves encouraging those around her and championing her favorite projects!

As a way to give back and serve:
Jenn enjoys sharing her testimony and speaking to schools, churches and festivals through her program "INSPIRING AUDIENCES" to help students discover their passion, overcome life's obstacles and begin living their dreams.
