Ted Johnson retired thirteen years ago as a Senior Vice President for Bank of America following forty years in the corporate financial services and securities industries, Ted has been enjoying a second career in acting, having appeared in over 70 feature, independent, and student films as well as industrials, commercials and a few stage roles.

He especially enjoys roles he can do jointly with his film actor wife, Bonnie, such as parent or grandparent roles. Examples of where they have worked together are their roles as Congressmen in “Evan Almighty” with John Goodman and Steve Carrel and their roles as Andie MacDowell’s parents in “The 5th Quarter”.

He recently appeared as Congressman John Ellis in Spielberg’s “Lincoln” and as Secretary of State William Seward in “Killing Lincoln”. Ted plays a euphonium horn in the Calvary Church orchestra and brass choir well as in the Charlotte Concert Band. He dearly appreciates the coaching and encouragement he has received from his wife Bonnie, who has helped him develop this second career.
