This is not really a Christian film, even though it was marketed as a Christian film. There is a little language in this film and although some of the music, which was FABULOUS, seemed to possibly lean towards Christianity, there is no direct Christianity in this film. To me, it was not even close to “Facing the Giants” or “Fireproof”, which were both obvious Christian films. Because of the language I wouldn’t even say it was family friendly.
Driven to live on the streets of Los Angeles, an 18-year-old girl befriends a group of young runaways and an aging blues artist looking for his own redemption. Joining forces, they manage to survive by playing music on the Venice Beach boardwalk. But will they ever experience real love? An inspirational tale celebrating the power of second chances!
In the tradition of “Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants”.
