Fantastic series, especially for kids. Strong salvation messages especially in the last two and FABULOUS music. I do not like music much but WOW – I even want the soundtracks for these. A lot of people came to Christ after watching the last one, “Judgment: The Trial of Commander Kellie”. The special effects are not great but really worth watching these.
Combining action, suspense, special effects and the power of the Word, Commander Kellie and the Superkids provide great movie fun for the whole family!
The idea for Commander Kellie and the Superkids was birthed in the 1980s, and the first Superkids adventure audiotape was released in 1989. Three more audiotape adventures followed. By 1992, the first Commander Kellie and the Superkids movie, The Intruder, had been released. That same year, Wichita Slim (Kenneth Copeland’s western character) made his first appearance, to the delight of young audiences all over the world.
The next Superkids movie, The Armor of Light, debuted in 1995, followed by The Sword in October 1997. Then, in May 1999, Judgment: The Trial of Commander Kellie-the most recent Superkids movie-was released.
“We set out to do full-length motion pictures, and in those motion pictures, train and teach the power of the Word of God,” Brother Copeland explained. Judgment was built around Revelation 12:11: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony….” “The Lord told us to make this film about the blood of Jesus,” Kellie Copeland, a.k.a. Commander Kellie, shared.
(Vol. 1) Commander Kellie and the Superkids: The Intruder – The Superkids help a young singer (Carman) rediscover his mission in life-while stopping an NME agent’s plans to infiltrate the Academy. (30min.)
(Vol. 2) Commander Kellie and the Superkids: Armor of Light – When Darkmaster (Mylon Le Fevre) starts leading children into a gang of corrupt bikers, the Superkids put on their spiritual armor and fight to the finish.
(Vol. 3) Commander Kellie and the Superkids: The Sword – General Fear creates a new device to stop the message of the gospel-but not before the Superkids take up the sword of the Spirit. (85min.)
(Vol. 4) Commander Kellie and the Superkids: Judgment: The Trial of Commander Kellie – When Commander Kellie (Kellie Copeland) is falsely charged and brought to trial by NME, it’s up to the Superkids and Daniel Lyon (Kenneth Copeland) to prove her innocence!
After the destruction of Superkid Academy, NME doesn’t delay. With the Superkids out of the picture, they’re free to manipulate the government and gain control of the world and the world’s children. But then NME learns that the Superkids are still alive. It takes time, but with swift maneuvering, NME finally captures the Superkids’ leader, Commander Kellie.
Soon, under a corrupt judicial system, she stands trial for crimes she didn’t commit. If she pleads innocent, they’ll take her life. If she pleads guilty, the enemy wins. So What will she plead? From the explosive opening scene to the dramatic final moments, Judgment: The Trial of Commander Kellie is a non-stop adventure with a powerful message about the blood of Jesus and the Covenant of love between God and man. Your family will love it! (135min.)
