CFDb Review!

Wow! What a film! I would have loved this film even more if just a few cuss words were gone from this film. They did a great job with the special effects and really got the message across about spiritual warfare. I would have liked to have seen a real conversion experience. It was more symbolic. Still a fabulous film! I would definitely NOT let your children watch this until you’ve seen it first. It’s intense!  Check out the CFDb Movie Review.

I decided to check out this movie because it was on sale for $5.00 at one of our local Christian bookstores this week. I was hoping that it would be a viable depiction of what a war between the forces of evil and the forces of God would be. Unfortunately, the angel, Joshua, who should have had the situation WELL under control had his own agenda and it made him appear to be very anemic for a head angel, or any other angel in the forces of God. He is, however, vindicated in the end when he FINALLY determines that it is God’s agenda, not his own, that is of supreme importance. Joshua has a less experienced, but determined, sidekick named Daniel aiding him. During most of the movie it is he who is doing his job. Joshua, who should have had NO fear of ANY demon–NOR the devil, himself–is living in fear of a couple of demons. Satan and his demons never have and never will have authority over God’s people nor His angelic host. This movie gives satan WAY more authority over the believer in Jesus than he has ever had nor ever will unless we, like Adam and Eve. hand it over to him. When Jesus went to hell and took the keys to death, hell and the grave satan’s authority over the believer was taken from him and unless we give it back to him he is, no more than a TOOTHLESS, ARMLESS lion seeking who will give themselves back to him to “steal, kill and destroy”. Needless to say I was VERY disappointed with this movie. Fortunately it was only $5.00 because it INSTNTLY hit the shredder…..

How in the world did this movie end up on a Christian site. This movie had curse words, music that sounded like it came from the pits of hell and it felt demonic. I would never let my kids watch this. Very disappointed that the devil is now finding his way into sites like this!! WOW
