CFDb Review!

Fantastic Christian film that really takes on some REAL issues Christians face!  Check out the CFDb Movie Review.

Film Synopsis:

14-year old Gertie (Victoria Elizabeth Staley) is singlehandedly raising her little sister, Izzie (Kyla Kenedy). Orphaned after their mother’s death, the two girls are secretly living on their own, attempting to stay under the radar so they can remain together. Meanwhile Gertie’s new teacher, Mrs. Freeman (Vanessa Williams), and her husband (Rockmond Dunbar) struggle with their inability to have a child.

Both Gertie and Mrs. Freeman have fallen from faith, but can these two “broken” families find renewed devotion by coming together? Gifted with an inspired cast and uplifting message, Raising Izzie will touch your heart with the healing power of faith and family.

Your synopsis says, “abandoned by their father”, however, he died while the mom was pregnant with Izzie. Izzie asks her sister about him and his funeral early in the movie when she can’t sleep.

I am a Muslim but still watched this movie and in regards i found it very touching. Such a beautiful film and i would recommend it to everyone in all religions because it just shows the miracle of God, and that we should be grateful for everything God does as his work has absolutely no mistake with in it. Nice to know that Izzie had more faith in God than her sister.Bless her.. 🙂
