‘Victor’ – CFDb Movie Review

Victor – Based on a true story.

A mother’s love. A son’s rebellion. The faith to overcome.

From the streets of The Cross and the Switchblade comes the inspiring TRUE STORY of a teen from Puerto Rico forced to survive the dark streets of 1962 Brooklyn.

Enslaved by the power of gangs and the addiction of heroin, he must find faith and freedom before he destroys his family and himself.

Sneak Preview

This was a difficult review for me, but not because it was a bad movie – in fact, it was a great movie with an incredible story!

Victor’s life is an inspiring – real life – story of hope.

As someone who grew up with close family who still today struggle with addiction, this film, I think, is one that would resonate with anyone who has ever been touched by addiction both directly or indirectly. Be it hard drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or any other crutch that people may choose before God.

By the end of this film, you will see the true power and strength that comes from God and Faith in Him!
