Some great moments in this film.  Here were some highlights:

  • The way the mom treated the son at the beginning of this movie.  It was a wake up call that no one should ever speak that way to anyone, let alone your own child.  It was truly heartbreaking and I know very realistic in some homes.
  • Some of the women in this film were really not nice at all.  Another wake up call of what NOT to do if you’re a woman.
  • A pastor should never be alone with another person, especially a woman.  This is a great way to protect your reputation. Billy Graham was just 1 that kept that rule throughout his ministry.
  • Great trumpet and rapture scene.
  • Loved the scene where the 2 men in the car almost, but didn’t cuss.  It was a brilliant way of handling that.
  • Great musical score.
  • Some great eye-opening statements.
  • Shows true vs. false Christianity.

The beginning leads you to expect a different kind of movie, so don’t let that throw you off.

Patrick Vann … Julian HarrisPatrick Vann

Patrick Vann, who plays Julian, is fabulous in this film.  Him and his friend had us laughing out loud, but especially Patrick.  Great lines, great acting, a pure joy to watch.
