Synopsis: A twist of fate brings the national spotlight to a forgotten Texas town and a once famous preacher has an opportunity to regain his former glory or seize one last chance to restore his fractured family.

Narrated by his fifteen-year-old daughter, we watch as Adam Wells, a minister driven by the prospect of achieving greatness as the next nationally-syndicated TV Evangelist lays down his opportunity at “celebrity” and even his own life in order to become something even greater.

A loving husband and father to his wife and daughter.

The film opens in a limited release around the country in less than two months! A unique form of distribution which helps faith-based films get into mainline cinemas has come on board to release the film. Fans can reserve tickets at Seatzy.com. The film release also follows the Zondervan/ HarperCollins novel by mega-selling Christian Fiction authors, Bodie & Brock Thoene. Novelized from the screenplay, the book was released last year and sold 17,000 copies its first month.

The film features a new re-imagined version of the contemporary Christian mega-hit, “Beauty for Ashes” by Crystal Lewis. The song’s message of restoration connects with the film’s story of a broken family’s journey to redemption. A music video with Crystal Lewis singing the re-invented song with clips of the film is currently being produced.

“Beauty for Ashes” won a 1997 American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers award for being the most played song. The album, by the same name, sold nearly a million copies according to ChristianMusic.com. After 17 years, Lewis remakes the song for the “Beyond the Farthest Star” film.
