‘My Name is Paul’ ~ CFDb Movie Review
Paul blinded by hate and intent on destruction is determined to find and kill Peter, the enemy of his Leader. However, a terrible accident and a miraculous discovery take him off course and on a road of self-discovery where he learns to live and love the Way.
Loved the little girl that played in this film. She was so genuine and innocent and kind. It reminds me of Jesus telling us that we should become as little children in order to enter into the kingdom of Heaven. This movie really shows why.
There were 2 things that stood out to me in this one:
- Our reward is NOT on this Earth. It’s normally end time movies that remind us of this fact, or true stories based on persecution.
- You NEED to forgive yourself if you want to be free. (Powerful concept and totally true!)
I have to admit that this film really made me think a lot about how the real Paul must have felt after being responsible for so much pain and suffering and even death of believers, after his conversion.
This movie is NOT a Biblical account of Paul, there are lots of differences to keep you guessing.
LOOK for this in the Theaters in the Spring, 2014.
