‘Noble’ ~ CFDb Movie Review
They broke everything but her spirit. They took everything but her dream.
As a young woman, Christina Noble began having dreams and visions of Vietnam, a country half a world away. Even after unthinkable adversity in her early life, Christina escapes the slums of Ireland, follows her dream, and journeys to Vietnam in 1989 at the age of 44. There she encounters the horrifying poverty and loss of innocence of thousands of street children.
Rather than retreat, she does whatever it takes to save these children’s lives. “It’s a story about the triumph of the human spirit over adversity,” said Deirdre O’Kane, who depicts Christina in the film.
A true story that packs a punch. Although some risque moments were in this film, it was tastefully done and portrayed true events that are heartbreaking.
Watching how her life unfolds was fascinating and how she was guided throughout her journey. Expect to cry in this one, but it has an encouraging ending that is ongoing…
