‘The Remaining’ ~ CFDb Movie Review

The Remaining

The Remaining – The Remaining is an action-packed supernatural thriller that addresses questions of life, love and belief against an apocalyptic backdrop.

A group of close friends gather for a wedding, but the celebration is shattered by a series of cataclysmic events and enemies foretold by biblical end-times prophecies. The survivors face a horrifying, uncertain future as they scramble for safety, but as their world collapses around them in chaos and terror, will they choose real life through faith, or just try to survive?

Sneak Preview

The Remaining

Besides the great special effects and sounds effects, this is a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat.  Here were some highlights:

  • Just because you call yourself a Christian, does not mean you have real faith.  Being comfortable is NOT faith.
  • Even the people that you think are good people, doesn’t mean that they are saved.  We might even pray but that doesn’t mean you’re genuine, like walking around with your soul asleep.
  • Don’t get caught outside of His grace.
  • Loved the way the rapture was shown…very unique.  Especially loved the eyes.
  • The LOUD trumpet was amazing – this is the one movie that portrayed the loudness accurately. I Thessalonians 4:16 – For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.  (Has anyone ever heard a trumpet playing softly?)
  • We are all presented with the same evidence.  It’s what we do with the evidence that matters.

This is a film that makes you realize TODAY is the day of salvation, the day of decision.
