‘Steps of Faith’ ~ CFDb Movie Review
Steps of Faith, is a light-heart dramedy about Faith Houston an accountant, who is directed by God to move to a small town to work on a Hippotherapy farm helping children.
Faith is mocked by her family since she doesn’t have a rapport with children or animals and is not a devout Christian. Faith decides to follow her heart and move after she encounters several challenges. She finds herself at the farm in the horse stalls shoveling manure. Faith cracks under pressure and leaves after a child is almost injured questioning whether she heard God’s voice or not.
If you like UP TV Movies, you’ll like ‘Steps of Faith’. Here were some highlights:
- Some great moments of humor throughout.
- The one comment the grandmother made towards the end of the film…WONDERFUL. Pay attention – it’s spoken to Faith about women and men. Great advice too.
- The whole idea of God speaking to us what job we are supposed to do. Would we really know His voice as Faith did in this film?
- The amazing perseverance of Faith, even though some curve-balls were thrown her way.
LOVED the two main characters in this film and would love to see them more in future faith based productions. Chrystee Pharris, who played Faith in this film was fabulous. Her character was lovely in this and so humorous.
